SponsorMyTeam was founded by me, Mike Hancock — a grassroots football coach, business owner, and dad of four. Over the years, I’ve seen just how hard it is for local sports teams to find sponsors. I’ve watched teams struggle to afford kit, equipment, or even pitch fees — while small businesses in the same area would have gladly helped if they’d only known how.
I founded SponsorMyTeam because the current system is broken. Teams either rely on luck, personal contacts, or endless asking — while businesses are bombarded with requests and left without a clear, secure way to give back.
