1. Introduction

 

Welcome to SponsorMyTeam. These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of our website and platform, including teams, sponsors, and visitors. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

SponsorMyTeam Ltd provides a service that connects grassroots sports teams with potential sponsors, handles sponsorship agreements, and manages sponsorship payments. No guarantee can be made that this platform will find you a sponsor. 

 

 

2. Platform Overview

 

SponsorMyTeam acts as a facilitator — helping teams and sponsors connect and complete sponsorships in a clear, secure, and professional way.

We do not operate as an agent, employer, or guarantor for either party. We provide tools, communication channels, and contract support, but the final agreement is between the team and the sponsor.

 

 

3. Team Registration and Responsibilities

 

By signing up, teams agree to:

  • Accurately complete their team profile

  • Provide truthful and up-to-date information about their club, needs, and visibility offerings

  • Deliver agreed sponsorship terms (e.g. displaying sponsor logos, social posts, or other agreed promotions)

  • Maintain communication with matched or interested sponsors

  • Use any received sponsorship funds solely for team-related purposes

 

All teams must provide:

  • A registered club bank account for receiving sponsorship funds

    OR

  • Agree to funds being paid directly to verified suppliers (e.g. kit companies)

 

SponsorMyTeam does not release funds to individuals or personal bank accounts.

 

 

4. Sponsor Registration and Responsibilities

 

By registering as a sponsor, businesses agree to:

  • Provide accurate company details and payment information

  • Respect grassroots sport and community values

  • Provide logo or promotional assets in a timely manner

  • Honour the agreed terms of any sponsorship (as outlined in the contract)

 

SponsorMyTeam reserves the right to remove any sponsor account suspected of misrepresentation, spam, or non-payment.

 

 

5. Payment Process and Commission

 

All sponsorship payments are handled by SponsorMyTeam Ltd.

Process:

  • The sponsor pays SponsorMyTeam Ltd directly.

  • SponsorMyTeam retains a 15% commission on the total sponsorship value.

  • The remaining balance is forwarded to the team’s registered club bank account or directly to a verified supplier (e.g. kit provider).

  •  

Payments will not be issued to individuals or unverified accounts.

Invoices will be provided to sponsors for accounting purposes. Funds are typically processed and forwarded within 1-3 working days of payment being received.

 

 

6. Contracts and Agreements

 

All successful sponsorships are accompanied by a digital agreement that outlines:

  • The agreed sponsorship value

  • Sponsor branding usage terms

  • Fulfilment expectations by the team

  • Payment terms and reference details

 

These are generated automatically through the platform and shared with both parties.

 

 

7. Fees and Refund Policy

 

SponsorMyTeam retains a fixed 15% commission on all completed sponsorships.

Because contracts are agreed and payment is transferred as per terms, we do not offer refunds once the transaction has been processed and passed to the team or supplier.

 

 

8. Platform Use and Conduct

 

All users agree not to:

  • Misrepresent themselves, their business, or their team

  • Upload offensive, misleading, or unauthorised content

  • Use the platform for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose

 

SponsorMyTeam reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts at its sole discretion.

 

 

9. Liability

 

SponsorMyTeam Ltd is not responsible for:

  • The ongoing conduct of teams or sponsors

  • The delivery or use of kit, equipment, or services by third parties

  • Any failure by either party to fulfil their sponsorship obligations

 

Our role is as a facilitator. Responsibility for fulfilling the terms of the agreement rests with the team and sponsor.

 

 

10. Intellectual Property

 

All content, branding, platform tools, and systems are owned by SponsorMyTeam Ltd and may not be copied, reused, or redistributed without prior written consent.

 

 

11. Data and Privacy

 

SponsorMyTeam collects limited user data to enable platform use and communication. For details on how we handle data, please see our Privacy Policy.

 

 

12. Governing Law

 

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
